Energy Education with Afe Babalola University Student Chapter

In an effort to spread knowledge on energy and the oil and natural gas industry, the SPE Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Student Outreach team has developed four training videos demonstrating four different energy experiments derived from energy4me training activities. These videos targeted parents and students using fun and simple science experiments utilizing home materials while in quarantine.

These videos were delivered in Arabic with English subtitles to help reach a bigger audience; it is the first online Arabic series from energy4me and was presented by four certified energy4me trainers from the KSA Section. The community received these videos very well, and many students from different parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated. A webpage has been developed to host the energy4me videos, experiment fun facts, quizzes, and participant photos and videos. This rich content will help our SPE volunteers utilize digital content while visiting schools; it is now available online as part of the SPE-KSA website, YouTube. Total of 77 participants.
