Teacher Workshops

Extend your educational outreach. Teach educators how to teach energy!
The energy industry works hard to educate the next generation of energy professionals on career opportunities and how to make smart energy choices. Giving a classroom presentation to a small group of students is a great way to participate, but educating teachers can have a much larger impact. Some pre-university teachers teach hundreds of students during a schoolyear, and thousands more over the course of their careers. Plus, teachers often have a stong influence on students’ choices.
Many teachers did not receive training on how to teach energy topics while attending university. They may be uncomfortable delivering such a complex topic to students, and avoid or teach the minimum required elements. Energy4me believes in the importance of giving teachers the tools they need to comfortably teach students on energy choices and careers.
