Curriculum Description

Nicholls State University offers a Petroleum Services program that allows offshore employees to continue working a seven-on/seven-off shift schedule while earning degrees as full- or part-time students. As opposed to tradition technology programs, the Nicholls Petroleum Services curriculum aims to prepare students for the operations segment of the industry rather than engineering aid positions. The majority of Petroleum Services students leave the program with significant promotions and increased job opportunities.

The Nicholls program allows students to pursue:

  • Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Services
  • Associate Degree in Petroleum Services
  • Associate Degree with a Safety Technology option or all three.
