• Engineers Days at Kern County Museum—high-school students in the greater Bakersfield area, who are enrolled in a college-preparatory program for math or science, are invited to attend a one-day event where they can meet engineers at  exhibit booths, listen to career and industry-related presentations, see live demonstrations, tour the world-class Black Gold Oil Museum, and eat a barbeque lunch sponsored by Halliburton.
