After the Teacher's Energy Education Workshop, teachers are invited to join in a PETROLEUM ENGINEERING EDUCATION panel session already in progress in room 102, 104, 106.
This session offers a broad view of petroleum engineering education—at all stages of a student’s development.
Panelists will provide statistics on petroleum engineering enrollment and curriculum requirements; results from the most recent SPE Colloquium on Petroleum Engineering Education; details on SPE’s education programs, including its new Energy4me initiative; continuing education programs; and insights into developing students’ leadership traits.
