The SPE San Joaquin Valley Section recently provided the Desks to Derrick organization with 40 Energy4me Kits!
Derrick to Desks’ mission is to enhance and foster a positive image to the global community by promoting the contribution of the petroleum, energy, and allied industries through education, by using all resources available. They are also dedicated to promoting the education and professional development of individuals employed in or affiliated with the petroleum, energy, and allied industries and to educate the general public about these industries.
The Energy4me Kit offers teaching aids, speaker resources, sample presentations, classroom activities and hands-on experiments for teaching energy in the classroom in a fun, exciting way with activities for every grade level included. Through the abundance of contents available in the kit, Desks to Derrick will have a lot to use in furthering their mission of energy education.
